Our mission is to strengthen the church by strengthening Christian families. This will be accomplished by proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ with an emphasis upon young people within the body of Christ. Parents are responsible for the spiritual development of their children and any activity that involves young people need to involve parents. We desire to provide a positive environment where both young people and their parents can be drawn closer together in faith and practice. Family Matters! We also recognize the need of young people in developing positive social contacts with other young people of like precious faith, and having a forum for participating in a discussion about that faith. We want to provide such opportunities in a family environment, and in an atmosphere where truth is taught and practiced. We are committed to promoting the SOUND PRACTICES of the New Testament in our discussions, in our lives, and in our worship. We therefore have developed this retreat as a place where young people can come with their families, meet other young Christians and enjoy a weekend of being encouraged in their faith. Where parents can join their children in weekend filled with positive family time, being drawn closer together and a deepening of their faith in Christ Jesus. Where elders of the many local congregations participating can be confident that all that is taught will be according to the Word, and all that is done will be to the glory and honor of God in Christ Jesus.
