Our goal is to go from this weekend having been edified in our faith, observing
all that God has commanded, and thanking him for the opportunity to have
been there.
The Central Church of Christ assumes the responsibility for all
activities at Pigeon Forge High School.  The following assembly
behavior is expected:
a.        We are here to be encouraged in the faith of our God and Savior Jesus Christ.  We
will accomplish this by following the teaching of the Bible in everything we do as
  we assemble together.

b.        We are commanded in the word of God how to worship (John 4:24).  This means
we will worship him with our hearts and our minds focused upon God, not
allowing outside things or persons to distract us, or by creating a distraction
ourselves.  It also means that we worship him as he has commanded in his word.

         i.        The Bible teaches that only Christian males are to be leaders in
assemblies where both male and females are present (1 Tim. 2: 11,12)
Christian women will conduct break-out sessions only in all female
                  classes.

ii.        The Bible teaches us to sing using the instrument of our heart (Ephesians
5:19) and it also reveals that singing is a teaching activity, one to
another (Col. 3:16).  Therefore, all our singing will be congregational
so that we may all use our hearts and teach one another by the hymns
                  we sing.

iii.        Since such behavior as hand clapping and raising up waving arms are
outward expressions that diminish the spiritual nature of our devotion,
and since there is no Biblical authority for such to take place, it is
forbidden during all our assemblies, and break-out sessions.

iv.        We have worship leaders, song leaders and prayer leaders already
assigned.  Let them lead.  In assemblies of God's people the Bible
teaches how things are to be done (1 Cor. 14:40).  Individuals not
assigned to act as leaders should refrain from spontaneously
beginning a song, prayer or any other action.

          v.        We expect a reverent demeanor to be present during our assemblies and
                  break-out sessions.
